Bubble Bomb
November 25, 2006
Bubble Bomb from Binary Sun isn’t the most original game ever. You’ve got a screen full of colored bubbles, and you try to explode groups of the same color. That said, I rock at Bejeweled, at Puzzle Bobble, at the bilge puzzle on Puzzle Pirates. I even joined Neopets to play the block puzzle. If it involves lining up colors and making them explode, I’m probably playing it at work and ALT-TABing when my students come in. I think it comes from spending lots of my high school weekends playing Magical Drop.
Bubble Bomb is available as a free download, you can play 20 games before deciding to buy it or go back to Snood.
Although I thought Bubble Bomb was too similar to other puzzle games, it’s gotten me interested enough in Binary Sun games to check out Seth’s Puzzle Boxes next.
