My Sony PSP

The Sony PSP has been released in the market for quite a while but in my case, we just bought ours last April. It’s slim and black in color. I was against at buying it at first but when I learned to use it, I got hooked.

I prefer just simple games like Virtua Tennis 3, NBA, Sims Castaway, and Luxor. There were other games installed too like Outrun, NFS, and Smackdown 2008. I play these too but on a regular basis. I’m still learning the ropes of these games.

Whenever I have free time, you will catch me playing with max volume on. I can play for hours and hours until my thumb hurts and that’s the cue for me to rest for a little bit and then resume playing again.

But now since I got busy with work, I don’t get to play often anymore but I just play songs from the PSP. That’s one feature I liked that I get to put my favorite songs to play when I’m relaxing. It’s also great that I can save pics of my family too.

I don’t regret buying the PSP and we will surely take care of it so that our son can enjoy playing it too in the near future.

Study rebuts gamers’ reticent-nerd image

The perception about the ever expanding gaming community has evolved but it still . Videogames, a harmless form of entertainment, have been imputed with several ills. Many in the anti-gaming lobby are quick to point that gamers are generally society shy and prefer the confines of their geeky homes. However, a new study has found evidence to the contrary. The study conducted by Dan Laton, a Psychology expert from Victoria University, Australia, found that videogames don’t breed shyness among gamers. So now you know that you can let your child or partner play games as they don’t make anyone less gregarious.

Excellent game, lots of fun. A must play for any GOW fan, can’t wait for 3.

Halo

I really love going back and playing the original, its so much harder than the later games. If you’re a veteran halo gamer and need to sharpen you skills go back to the beginning. In my opinion, its well worth it. Now i have to go deal with the flood.

Boredom

I hate it when you’re so bored you don’t even want to play any games. i’m like that right now. someone help me.

Worms: open warfare

Not a very fun game at all, sorry. its good if you’re on a long road trip and you need something to distract you from the pain of sitting in a car for 8 hours, but other than that forget it.

Will Xbox Live and Playstation Network become new iTunes?

Recently the band Motley Crue accomplished an unbelievable- and herculean - feat when their latest track Saints of Los Angeles registered more downloads on Xbox Live and PSN, as a Rock Band dlc, than iTunes. The band had deliberately released the track as a Rock Band dlc after research showed that gamers made up a sizable chunk of their fans. This might just be the precursor of things to come, though all tracks might not be more popular on online game services. This also gives a dekko into the digital world of the future when storage media will be tossed out of the window and digital downloads will reign.

Microsoft builds Gears of War heat with cheap edition

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that Microsoft has perfected the art of marketing gigantic titles. Last year, Microsoft’s elaborate Halo 3 marketing campaign saw the game make a mockery of many video game sales records and now it is geared up to do the same with Epic’s Gears of Wars 2. The game is scheduled for a November 03, 2008 release but Microsoft, the game’s publisher, has already announced two new Gears of Wars editions - not Gears of War 2. There will soon be a two-disc collector’s edition and a generic game disc at a discounted price. The discounted copy will be priced $39.99 for the 360 and 29.99 for the PC, while the collector’s edition will lighten your pockets by $39.99.The collector’s edition will include previous GOW downloads and special GOW 2 content.

Best of all the gta games. i’d keep playing it if i didn’t have all my stuff locked away in jpso. oh well, just a few more weeks and i’ll be back at it.
