Wii HD underdevelopment!?

I have’nt even got my hands on the Wii and now the rumors are rising that they are planning to bring out Wii HD! Though it is only a speculation but it is said that the new hardware for nextgen Wii is underdevelopment. There was an article published on What They Play that nintendo will be releasing there new HD console in 2011. Well then, if you were unlucky to get your hands on the Wii, then you can wait till 2011. Or if you can afford both of them then I suggest you buy both and this will bring the best of the gaming world at the tip of your fingers . You can read the full article over here.

Bejeweled comes out on Oct 27

News for Bejeweled fans. Though i am not a great fan of puzzle games but, when i have some time to kill, i go for these games. Wether i like it or not, it is my job to inform you with the latest news in the gaming world :).
Though the news are not confirmed, but PopCap has announced that they will be revealing there next Bejeweled title, entitled Bejeweled Twist, on October 27. This game took 3 years for development ( I don’t know for what it took so long). Only time will tell what it will bring for the fans. It is being said that gamers will be able to buy this game for $19.95. So if you have got nothing to do and have some time to waste, then i suggest that you go for it.

14 Games For Playstation System At Tokyo Game Show

An exciting news for Playstation fans. And i am sure that this news will make xbox 360 owners jealous of the PS3 gamers. However, i am not going to be jealous because i own both of them . Anyways, the news is that it has been announced that a total of 14 games will be announced for the Playstation systems (3 for PSP and 11 for PS3) at the Tokyo Game Show. What more do you want! The titles include Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4 and MotorStorm. I can’t wait to get my hands on these games. This news is taking over my nights. I wish they announce a Kingdom Hearts game.

Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway

I am a huge fan of shooting games and specially FPS games. Hell’s Highway , the latest in the Brothers in Arms series, came out on September 23 and i was able to get my hands on this one on 24th. Hell’s Highway consists of all the qualities that were present in its previous Brothers in Arms titles with beautiful scenery and fast paced and exciting action. Hell’s Highway allows you to take the role of Sergeant Matt Baker and gives you the chance to become a leader of a squad. Though the squad will fight along with you, but you too have to deliver your performance and take care of your squad. There is a wide variety of weapons to choose from machine guns to bazookas. Overall i think its a great FPS game. I will give it 8 out of 10.

Mega Man 9 Coming To Xbox Live On Wednesday

I am a huge fan of 2d arcade games and i keep downloading them from xbox live arcade for microsoft points. Mega Man is one of the best 2d arcade games that i have played. And i will surely be downloading Mega Man 9. Great news for xbox 360 owners. The much awaited mega man 9 is going to come to the xbox live arcade on and you will be able to buy it for only 800 microsoft points. What more do you want!? Only time will tell what this game will bring with it. However i am pretty excited to get my hands on this game as soon as it comes out.

GTA: The Best Game Series

I am a huge fan of the Rockstar’s GTA series and i have played almost all the game of this series. Be it GTA 3, GTA vice city or San Andreas i have played all of them. Ever since the GTA 3 came out it revolutionized the gaming world. And it changed the way the people used to think about gaming. Since then it turned into a new genre. Many other companies tried to copy the idea but non of them succeeded. There are alot of other games out there trying to copy the idea that Rockstar introduced. But, according to my opinion, non of them stands in competition with the GTA series. The GTA games allows you to take the role of a gangster and gives you the chance to experience the life of a gangster. GTA 3 allowed you to drive cars, boats and other such vehicles. With further advancements Gta vice city allowed you to drive even bikes and airplanes and helicopters. Gta San Andreas offers an even massive variety of vehicles. So far it is the best video game series that i have ever played. Write now i am playing GTA 4 and i will soon write a review of that game.

PES 2009 Demo Comes Out on 2 Oct

I am huge fan of soccer games (i am glad that i am) and PES series is one of the best that i have played so far. Though i like Fifa series too. But, it is not as deep as Pro Evolution Soccer. I am writing this post to tell you about a great news. The demo of 2009 version of Pro Evolution Soccer is going to come out on oct 2 at the same time on the best consoles which include PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It has been reported by news sites that this demo will allow players to take control of some of the best football clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United and my all time favourite, Barcelona.
Well it is “Eid” and my cousin will be coming from USA and i am so excited to play this game with him on my Xbox 360.

Fable 2 Preview

I am a great fan of RPG games and i think this one is a must have for me. After the great success if Fable Peter Molenyux will be releasing the 2nd part, Fable 2. I am very excited to tell you about this game. It is a fantasy RPG game. Let me tell you about some of the features of Fable 2. In this game you will be able to choose a good path or a bad path and decide on which way you want to lead your life. In this game you will be able to marry, have kids, have sex with or without animal skin condoms. You can even kill you husband or wife. And yes you can choose to play with a female or a male character. In short there is a virtual sim in this game. At any time you will be able to get your friend to play with you on the same console or on the xbox live network. This game will be coming out in october 2008 on Xbox 360 only. I am sorry to say that PS3 players won’t be able to play this game.

Red Alert 2: A Great RTS Game

Red alert 2 is one of the great real time strategy games that i have played so far. It is a war based game in which you have to build up your base and army and then defeat the other team. You get money by harvesting gold which is used to buy army units and building your base. You also have to maintain your base power by building power plants. There are two teams both with their different campaigns. One is the US and the other is Soveit Union. You can even play this game online with your friends or on LAN. The game can run on an average PC and you don’t require a high end graphics card for this game. The learning curve is not more than half an hour. Over all i think its a must have game for RTS fans. I will give it 8.5 out of 10.

GTA: Chinatown Wars Features Drug-Selling Minigame

Few days ago a news came that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars , which is the upcoming DS GTA game from Rockstar’s exceptionally popular crime series, will feature a drug selling mini game where players will be able to earn money pedding six different kinds of narcotics around town. 1up.com reports that unsurprisingly, this isn’t going over very well with anti-drug organizations. According to Gamepolitics British tabloid The Sun, a member of the charity Drugsline condemns Rockstar’s use of illegal narcotics.
Darren Gold, on behalf of the Drugsline organization, said,”"Anything using drug-dealing as entertainment is sending out the wrong message.Glamorization doesn’t help our work trying to educate kids of the dangers of substance misuse.”

Pure, off road quad game

Pure, which is an off road game for the Xbox 360 developped by Black Rock Studio, is a game which proposes you to drive a quad. Black Rock Studio has experience in this domain so we can hope that the game will have a lot of fun. Not only the game will try to seduce the players with his arcade mode but also by the fact you can do spectacular actions with your quad.

I played the game during an exhibition and i was quite impressed. After i was able to play in the house of one of my friends and i can tell you that Pure impresses a lot. Not only for his good realisation, the driving is very impressive since it gives a very good sensation but unfortunately i will prefer a little more circuits to extend the playing.

Atari Brings Classics to iPhone App Store

CasualGaming.biz. reports that Atari has released two new games onto the iPhone App Store. Missile Command and Super Breakout have become available for $4.99 apiece. for iphone. Reports say that the graphics and controls have been updated to take advantage of the sharp iPhone screen and touch controls. The company promised that more reto revamps are in the works for iPhone in the future. Last week TouchArcade reported that Atari requested that fan made App Store games BreakClassic, BreakTouch 3D, and SuperPong 2 should be removed.

Banjo-Kazooie Coming to Live Arcade on November 26

The original N64 hit Banjo-Kazooie will be hitting the xbox live arcade on November 26, as reported by EvilAvatar. Those who preorder Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts will be able to download the original on XBLA almost two weeks before its release, so the November 26 date is only for those who buy it separately. The game will cost you upto 1200 MS Points ($15), so buying the two games separately would total at around $55.By playing the Arcade game, players can unlock extra content in Nuts and Bolts.

Wrath of the Lich King Releasing on DVD Only

Moderator post on the official WOW forums reports that Wrath of the Lich King, the game’s latest expansion, will only ship in the DVD format. Anyone without a dvd rom will have to upgrade or wait til the release of the game in digital form.
It seems like most people would have a DVD drive on their computer by now, WOW has a vast variety of audience, including players who don’t use their computer for gaming (or much else) beyond Warcraft. A question that arises is that Could this storage media upgrade make a dent in the expansion’s sales?

Halo 3 Title Update Makes Armor Unlocks Easier

Good news for Halo fans. Halo.Bungie.org , community-run Halo, reports, this week’s title update for Halo 3 may have had some unforeseen side effects when it comes to obtaining those elusive pieces of gear. Security and Katana armor sets were originally set after getting Halo 3 gamerscore of 1000 points — previously only possible by getting all 49 of the game’s achievements. Despite the addition of 30 new achievements this week, that prerequisite remains unchanged that remains unchanged. Which provides players with tons of other options for reaching that goal.

Spore sold million copies since release

Initial sales figures for Spore have been finally revealed by EA. Spore has sold over a million copies since its worldwide release on September 7. EA has also announced that the spore community has cranked about 25 million creations.
Executive producer Lucy Bradshaw comments,”We’re humbled by how quickly the community has taken to the creativity tools in Spore,” he added , “It’s amazing to see the sheer imagination represented in the hundreds of thousands of creatures, vehicles and buildings that have been uploaded around the clock since launch.”

European Digital Distributor Metaboli Acquires GameTap

Gamasutra has reported that Turner Broadcasting System will transfer GameTap entirely to Metaboli in early 2009, stepping down to instead become an equity investor. Till then, Turner Broadcasting System will be continouing to manage operations while providing technical support.
Metaboli CEO Pierre Gaudet has said, “The addition of GameTap provides us a foothold in the U.S. market; valuable content and an established brand that integrate well with our existing operations; and a partner with whom we are honored to be in business”.

Bungie.net Countdown Ends With Trailer For New Project

The Superintendent countdown on Bungie.net came to an end at last on Thursday morning at 7:07 a.m. In the count down there was a teaser trailer.The site simply explains this as a “teaser for one of our current projects.”

It shows an urban area is being bombarded with things falling from space. The trailer ends with the words “Halo 3″ flashing on the screen which suggests that it might be an expansion pack for halo 3. The line “Prepare To Drop” also appears. 1up.com says,”Could that be ‘drop’ as in “Orbital Drop Shock Troopers”? ”
There are some questions left unanswered which , we hope, will soon be answered.

Level-5, 4 new projects

Level-5 is working right now on 4 interesting game projects for portable games console available only next year 2009.
On Nintendo DS, “Inazuma Eleven 2″ has been confirmed for the next year 2009 (a new alien team and a statistic system more complete).
An other title for DS, “Ninokuni The Another World” is a role gaming on which the Ghibli studio will participate to create the video animations and character design. Moreover the game will have a kind of magic book which will contain informations about different spells and runes and the player has to look into it often.
On Playstation PSP, “Cardboard Senki” is a role gaming on which the player will have to play a little robot called LBX and it has to go through a world build of cardboard.
An other title for PSP, “Ushiro” is also a role gaming. The player will have to play a shinigami (a kind of death god) who has to follow a person, to protect him against evil spirit…

The Chronicles of Spellborn Gets a November Release Date in Europe

Good news for gamers. Spellborn will be released English, French, and German versions on Nov 27. 1up reported, “The closed beta has also entered the next phase of testing, which initiated with a large content update on Wednesday, September 17.”
U.S. gamers should not feel disheartened. Acclaim has revealed that although no date has been announced uptil now, an announcement of the U.S. release of Spellborn will be coming soon.
P.S. I have never even heard about this game before.

Duke Nukem 3D Back on Live Arcade This Week

Duke Nukem 3D will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday. The update will feature a rewind function for the gameplay, and save films for your bragging rights. It also offers upto eight-player co-op mode. The full game will cost $10 (800 MS Points).
Duke Nukem 3D can be considered as stand-in for Mega Man 9 which will come out for PS3 and Wii this week.

New Spore Patch Offers Built-In Cheats

EA games has released the first patch for Spore. And along with fixes and tweaks, Electronic Arts has also included built-in cheats for players.
Players will be able to use the “evoadvantage” cheat, which will allow you to choose one of your more evolved creatures from the Sporepedia to start a new game with. This is a great feature fo those who enjoy civilization building gameplay. It also included three new style filters: microscope, norainbows, and nextgen. Burnout Paradise Available On PlayStation Network On Thursday

Good news for PS3 owners. Criterion announced that Burnout: Paradise will be available for download on the PlayStation Store this Thursday. Though the file size has not been announced but, it was reported earlier that this is the full retail version of Burnout Paradise.
The download will cost $29.99 which is equal to its current price at retailers such as Gamespot.
